Can I become blind from laser eye surgery?

No, to date there is not a single case known of a patient who has become blind as a result of laser eye surgery. In addition, there are no facts known to authorities, such as the Health Care Inspectorate or the US FDA, that indicate that laser eye surgery could affect vision. So the answer to the question is no.

We do, of course, advise you to go to a reliable clinic for laser eye treatments. It is important to be well informed about the complication risks, the quality of equipment and the experience of ophthalmologists. At Visus Oogkliniek you can rely on top surgeons and top results.
