Can I drive after a lens replacement treatment?

You will not be able to drive yourself on the day of the operation. After the operation you will have a bandage or eye cap on your eye. You can therefore see less well. We recommend that you bring someone with you who can take you home safely.

Since there are two weeks between the first and second surgery, there is also a difference in strength between your two eyes during that period. This can make it more difficult to see depth. That is why we advise people to wait before driving until both eyes have been treated. After the second surgery, you will likely be able to see well in a day or two.

Are you unsure whether you can really see well again? Please contact us.
