Can I talk to the ophthalmologist during my treatment?
During the insertion of a conversion lens, you will be under local anaesthetic, so that you can talk to the treating ophthalmologist. It is important that you do not move. The ophthalmologist will, if you are also comfortable with this, explain exactly what he/she is doing at that moment. This way you are reassured and you know exactly what is going on and what is to come.
