Is laser eye surgery risk-free?

The chance that something will go wrong during laser eye surgery is extremely small. The chance that we cannot correct your eye defect to your satisfaction is approximately 1 in 1,000.

In order to minimize the chance of less favorable results, we look as extensively as possible during the preliminary examination into any risks that could influence your result.

Although laser eye surgery is a so-called minimally invasive procedure, it is still a medical treatment. Risks are part of this, especially because no human body reacts the same. However, by using the best technology in the field of diagnosis and treatment, we can take almost every risk into account.
