The age for laser eye surgery is in principle between 18 and 65 years. We do not treat patients under the age of 18.
From the age of 50, the advice will usually be to have your prescription corrected by replacing the current eye lens with a trifocal and/or toric premium lens. The result of a refractive lens replacement is permanent and usually not with laser. With age, the own eye lens ages, this change affects your strength, so that strength will arise again. If the current eye lens is replaced by an artificial lens, this will not happen.
In our free, extensive preliminary examination we will assess your medical situation and provide you with treatment advice.
