Why does Visus Oogkliniek use the trifocal lenses from Zeiss?

Implant lenses are made of a soft, transparent material that you cannot see or feel in your eyes. Most implant lenses are so-called monofocal lenses. That means that they can correct one deviation, so minus or plus.

At Visus Oogkliniek we have been working with trifocal lenses to our full satisfaction for years. Trifocal means that you can see well near, far and at an intermediate distance (screen distance). So you can drive, read the newspaper and work on the computer without glasses or contact lenses. A trifocal lens is therefore an ideal solution for a life without (reading) glasses, even as you get older. We specifically choose lenses from the Zeiss brand because of the perfect quality.
