Corneal Wavefront

We offer the additional Wavefront treatment for IntraLASIK and TransPRK treatments. You can certainly benefit from this if you are sensitive to light and glare. After the treatment, your vision is better at night and contrasts are more visible than with a treatment without Wavefront.

How much you see also depends on visual disturbances known as aberrations. Aberrations are caused by small bumps and dimples in the cornea. They scatter light, making you less able to see.

We distinguish lower and higher order aberrations. The lower order aberrations are related to common abnormalities such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and cylinder abnormalities and can be corrected with standard laser eye surgery.

    Had eye laser treatment last year. Still very happy with the treatment. Good explanation by visus and the treatment only takes a short time afterwards. Got rid of all complaints pretty quickly afterwards. A little more trouble with reflections when driving in the dark with rain, but apart from that, vision is very good!

    Good, professional clinic. Had both eyes treated with the Relex Smile in September 2022. Everything is super well and tightly organised. The treatment itself seems exciting but you are well guided and all worries are taken away, you feel you are in capable hands. Aftercare also well organised. Great vision now, no need for glasses. Well worth the money!
