Contact in acute situations

The vast majority of people recover quickly and well from laser eye surgery, extra lens implantation or lens replacement. If the recovery does not go as expected, it is important that you tell us in time.

Many complaints after a treatment are caused by dry eyes (disrupted tear film). If something occurs that we have not described on this page, we recommend that you first drip with artificial tears every 15 minutes for 4 hours.

Below is an overview of when you should contact us earlier.

Visus Emergency Care Line

This number is only intended for urgent ophthalmic complaints the first days after your treatment at Visus eye clinic. Unfortunately, this number cannot help you with (repeat) recipes.

For the best care in the first 24 hours  we recommend that you contact us directly via the VISUS Emergency Care Line in an emergency.

Make sure you have Caller ID turned on so we can call you back if necessary.

Of course you can always contact your GP.
