Lens replacement

The lens replacement treatment offers an excellent alternative to laser eye surgery, especially for people over the age of 45.

During the treatment, the natural eye lens is replaced by an extremely advanced implant lens (read: implant) that corrects all refractive errors so that you no longer even need reading glasses after the treatment.

How does lens replacement work

The lens replacement treatment only takes a few minutes, during which the eyes are anesthetized by means of eye drops. You will not experience any pain during the entire treatment. After the treatment, your eyes may be irritated from the light for several hours.

  1. Anesthesia Your eye is first numbed with eye drops. As a result, you will not feel any pain during the treatment.

  2. Removing the natural lens The surgeon removes your own lens using the phaco emulsification method. The surgeon can now place the artificial lens in your eye.

  3. Implanting the lens After the natural lens is removed, your eye doctor will place the advanced lens implant. This lens has optical properties that can correct almost any aberration that the eye naturally has. You can think of myopia, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.

Very competent doctors who patiently answer every question and create a realistic picture. The nurses and ladies at the front desk are also very friendly and helpful. The stress doll I received during surgery has been given a nice spot on my closet. Many thanks from a very sharp looking and satisfied customer.

  • 5 sterren Great result

Just over a year ago I had my eyes lasered. For the first few months one eye still had a reasonable deviation. It is now almost completely gone and I can see super sharp again. Thanks Visus!

  • 5 sterren Relex Smile…

I had the Relex-Smile treatment in July 2020, my left eye was -5.75 and my right eye was -5.50. The treatment itself took no more than 10 minutes, after that I suffered from stinging eyes for a few days but vision was 100% almost immediately. I doubted for a long time but now I am so happy. Thank you Visus...
