However, most patients find it very easy afterwards. You will be given eye drops to numb your eyes during the treatment. The treatment is really completely painless. Most treatments also last very short. It often takes longer to get in and out of the clinic and operating room than the treatment itself.

To help you through the process, the surgeon will continue to talk to you all the time and update you on the progress of your treatment. Because you are conscious, you can see immediately after the treatment that your vision has already improved.
